A newly elected international judge takes office

We are hereby announcing that pursuant to Article 99 of the Rules of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a newly elected judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Helen Keller will assume office on 4 December 2020.

Honourable Judge Keller has been elected in place of Honourable Judge Margarita Tstatsa-Nikolovska, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The term of office of Judge Nikolovska ended ex lege on 28 November 2020 pursuant to Article VI(1) of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina as she turned 70 on that date, as the age limit for serving as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pursuant to Article 82 of the Rules of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Honourable Judge Keller was sworn in today before the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Zlatko M. Knežević and, thus, has taken office.
