The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a group of students as part of a study visit organized by the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development, an organization founded by the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna and Johns Hopkins University SAIS Europe.

The visit aimed to provide students with first-hand insight into the work of key domestic institutions, international organizations, and the non-governmental sector involved in building a peaceful, stable, and democratic Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as into the challenges these institutions face in a post-conflict society.

A particularly important segment of the study visit was the meeting with representatives of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which plays a crucial role in safeguarding the constitutional order and protecting human rights.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about the competencies and work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the challenges the Court faces within the specific political and legal context of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exchange of experiences and discussions on the role of constitutional judiciary in post-conflict societies were of special interest to the participants.

During the visit, students discussed relevant constitutional law issues with senior legal advisor Armin Imamović and judicial associate Igor Roić.
