Students of ELSA Sarajevo organisation visited today the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the framework of regular institutional visits ELSA organises for its members.
ELSA (The European Law Students’ Association) constitutes the largest European non-profit and non-political association of law students and young lawyers, operating with the aim of enhancing legal education, professional development and promotion of the rule of law.
During the visit, members of ELSA Sarajevo had an opportunity to learn about the jurisdiction, organisation and role of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the country’s constitutional order, and about the practical aspects of this highest judicial institution’s work.
The discussion with the students was led by Legal Advisor Nemanja Ristić and Senior Judicial Associate Dino Jahić.
The aim of such institutional visits is to have students familiarized with the practical functioning of judicial institutions and to contribute to a better understanding of the constitutional system and the importance of the protection of constitutionality and human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
ELSA Sarajevo continues with activities aimed at bridging academic knowledge and legal practice, providing its members with valuable experiences and opportunities for professional development.
