Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević attending the International Conference in Warsaw

Upon the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Poland,  Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko M. Knežević, participated in the international conference on the topic “Human Rights: the European perspective”. The Conference was held on 16 and 17 November 2023 in Warsaw, Poland.

Organisation of the Conference is the result of the need to continue the previously started dialogues between European judges dealing with the protection of human rights. After the ceremonial opening, three working panels were organized within the Conference: Human rights - their immutability and their dynamics, Pluralism of axiological preferences as a factor that determines how human rights are understood and Intensification and integration of measures to improve the protection of human rights - opportunities and threats.

Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević made his contribution to the important topic of the Conference with a comprehensive presentation on issues related to the axiological understanding of human rights, emphasizing, among other things, values such as the right to life, the right to equality and the right to a fair trial.
