Visit of Ambassador Wigemark



His Excellency Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and European Union Special Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina paid a working visit to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.

His Excellency Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark was received by the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mato Tadić.

President Knežević informed Ambassador Wigemark of the constitutional position, organisation and functioning of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. President Knežević, Vice-President Tadić and Ambassador Wigemar discussed, inter alia, the position of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the constitutional structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina and importance of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the constitutional system of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Wigemark expressed his gratitude for the reception, exchange of opinions and information he received during the visit. He also expressed his unconditional support to the integrity and independence of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the important of the role of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and promotion and protection of human right and fundamental freedoms.
