The delegation of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs of the European Parliament (AFCO) comprised of Mr. Adrián Vázquez Lázara (Spain), Loránt Vincze (Romania), Marc Angel (Luxembourg), Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis (Lithuania) and Marieke Ehlers (Netherlands), as a part of its official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
AFCO delegation was received by the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ćeman and Judges Marin Vukoja and Larisa Velić, with the associates.
President Ćeman, Vice-President Galić and Judges Vukoja and Velić informed the AFCO about the constitutional position, jurisdiction, organization and current operation of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The discussion also included the place, role and jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court, particularly in development of democracy and protection of the rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
AFCO delegation expressed the gratitude for the reception, exchange of opinions and information, and expressed full support to the Constitutional Court.
