His Excellency Georg Diwald, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his First Secretary Dominik Urak visited the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) today.
Ambassador Diwald was welcomed by Mr. Mirsad Ćeman, President of the Constitutional Court of BiH, with his associates.
President Ćeman informed Ambassador Diwald about the position, organization and operation of the Constitutional Court of BiH, its jurisdiction, as well as relevant statistics on the work of the Constitutional Court of BiH. The discussion also included the place and role of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the constitutional structure of BiH, as well as the importance of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH in the legal system of BiH and their implementation. A successful bilateral cooperation between the Constitutional Court of BiH and the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Austria was highlighted.
Ambassador Diwald expressed his gratitude for the reception, exchange of opinions and information received from President Ćeman, and wished the Constitutional Court of BiH success in its future work.
