Seminar “Special Investigative Actions – Relevant Provisions of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the Case-Law of the European Court of H

The President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko M. Knežević, addressed today in the opening speech the participants of the seminar on the topic “Special Investigative Actions – Relevant Provisions of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights” organised by AIRE Centre (Advice on Individual Rights in Europe).

This seminar is organised to create the conditions for improvement in the practical application of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the support to the judicial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of preparation for the European Integrations.

The Seminar is focused on the standards of the European Court of Human Rights relating to the rights safeguarded by Articles 6 and 8 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in the context of special investigative actions.

Upon the invitation by the organiser of the seminar, AIRE Centre, the representatives of the Constitutional Court  of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA, OSA, Centre for Education of Judges and Prosecutors of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the legal experts of the international organisations attended and participated in the work of the seminar.
