President Ceman and Vice-President Tadic at the Regional Conference in Montenegro



President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ceman and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mato Tadic, attended the Regional Conference “Freedom of Expression – normative framework and practice” organised by the Constitutional Court of Montenegro in cooperation with the German Foundation of International Legal Cooperation IRZ held in Becici, Montenegro from 29 to 31 October 2015.

The first Round Table of the Constitutional Courts of the states created after the dissolution of SFRY was held in Sarajevo from 20 to 22 May 2004 with the topic: “Transitional Experiences of Constitutional Courts with Special Reference to Protection of Human Rights”.

The Regional Conference in Becici was attended by the Presidents and Judges of the Constitutional Courts of the host of the Conference, the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia as well as by a number of scholars and former judges of the Federal Constitutional Court of Republic of Germany.

President Ceman and Vice-President Tadic actively participated in the work of the Conference, discussing the topic and presenting their paper on the topic of the Conference entitled “Right to Freedom of Expression in the Practice of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

At this Congress, President Ceman and Vice-President Tadic met with colleagues, judges of constitutional and similar courts of other countries and participants of the Congress and exchanged opinions on current topics of constitutional judiciary in the countries of the region.
