
President Ćeman and Judge Simović attending a Regional Conference of Constitutional Courts in Zlatibor

The Conference is organised on the theme “Constitutional Court Protection in Criminal Law”. In addition to the host of the Conference, judges of the Constitutional Court of Serbia and representatives of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation, the Conference is attended by the Presidents and Judges of the Constitutional Courts of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Macedonia, the Republic of Slovenia and legal experts from Germany.
Dr Miodrag Simović, a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Hercegovina, made a presentation on the following subject “The Ne bis in idem Principle in the Criminal Law of BiH in the Context of Case-Law of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
In addition to participating in the work of the Conference, President Ćeman and Judge Simović, used the opportunity to exchange opinions with colleagues from other constitutional courts and other participants on the other current topics of the constitutional judiciary in the countries of the region as well.
