Delegation of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International Conference in Istanbul



At the invitation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey, a delegation of the Constitutional Court composed of Mr. Mato Tadić and Mr. Mirsad Ćeman, Vice-Presidents of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ms. Erda Začiragić, Head of the Office of the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is attending an International Conference in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey from 14 to 16 December 2018. The topic of the Conference is the “Role of Higher Judiciary in Protecting the Rule of Law and Fundamental Rights”.

The aim of the Conference is to provide a legal forum for a constructive and fruitful dialogue between constitutional and supreme courts by the member countries and observers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation wherein Bosnia and Herzegovina has the observer status.

The initiative to organize the International Conference in Istanbul has been taken by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.

The Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mato Tadić presented a paper at the Conference.

The Vice-Presidents of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mato Tadić and Mr. Mirsad Ćeman met a number of presidents, vice-presidents and judges of the constitutional courts and supreme courts/councils of the countries attending the Conference.
