The Visit of the High Ranking German Delegation

 
The delegation of the high ranking German officials from the legislative, judicial and executive branches together with the representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation has paid a visit today to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
The delegation was received by the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirsad Ćeman and his associates, Registrar Zvonko Mijan and Head of the Office of the President Erda Zaćiragić. Vice-President Ćeman introduced the delegation to the work of the Constitutional Court of BiH its jurisdiction and operation in general.
 
The visit took place on the initiative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation within the Rule of Law Programme South East Europe under the auspices of which a special forum under the title „Legal Policy and Judicial Reforms in u BiH“ was held from 20 to 21 June 2019 in Sarajevo. During this Forum, the high ranking German officials held a series of informal talks with local and international officials including the representatives of the Constitutional Court of BiH. The aim of this Forum is to draw a realistic insight of the ongoing legal and judicial reforms and the state of rule in Bosnia and Hercegovina, in general.
 
The Rule of Law Programme South East Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation is a regional programme that implements and supports rule of law related events in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Croatia, Montenegro, Republic of Moldova, Romania and Serbia. Programme focuses on the sustainable consolidation of a democratic rule of law in the targeted countries.
