Meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway

 

President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Ćeman, Vice-President Zlatko M. Knežević and Judge Valerija Galić met today with H.E. Vibeke Lilloe, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was organized on the occasion of successful implementation of the project BHZ-13/0019 “Support to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina” in the period from 2013 to 2016 made possible through the grant of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Ćeman used the opportunity to extend his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway and to the Ambassador Lilloe personally, on her selfless support in the implementation of this project which represented a significant contribution to the development of technical capacities of the Constitutional Court of BiH. The Agreement on grant allocation in the amount of EUR 196 727 was signed in 2013. H.E. Vibeke Lilloe signed the Agreement on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway and Judge Valerija Galic, the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina at that time, on behalf of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The funds of the grant were used in full, under the Agreement, for the creation of the case management system within the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the website design, the acquisition of computers and equipment, the acquisition of software licenses and the training of legal associates in the European Court of Human Rights, etc. To that end, the grant allocation and its successful implementation represented a very important step towards the completion of the IT system of support to the work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
